Bob Dylan "Oh Mercy" cassette tape

$9.00

After “Down in the Groove” and “Knocked Out Loaded,” people started thinking that Dylan was finished. He would wear sequined jackets in concert and mumble his way through “Masters of War.” It was unclear if he was lost or doing something that we just couldn’t understand yet (for what it’s worth, I think it was the former). But then Bono introduced him to Daniel Lanois and they made this New Orleans influenced, late night, kind of mellow record and critics forgot the missteps and decided that their poet laureate was back. They were actually mostly right! Tape in excellent vintage condition.
