I mean, do I really need to explain this to you? CCR’s fifth album was their commercial peak. In 1970, CCR was America’s answer to the early Beatles. They were hit-making machines who also happened to be creatively inspired and ambitious. “Cosmo’s” has “Travelin’ Band,” “Run Through the Jungle,” "Who'll Stop the Rain,” “Run Through the Jungle” and their cover of “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.” It’s a massive and massively important album.
