Sly and the Family Stone "Stand!" tape cassette

$8.00
sold out

This is perfection — one of the greatest albums of the 1960s, a strong defense of the counterculture and as fun and relevant today as it was back then. This looks like a pretty early version, likely from the 70s. It has “I Want to Take You Higher,” “Everyday People” and “You Can Make it if you Try.” In 1969, Sly Stone was possibly as important as Dylan and inching up towards The Beatles. A lot of what followed was sad, but this is glorious. Enjoy. Cassette in very good vintage condition.
