This is one of the rare compilation albums that sounds like a studio album. In this case, all of the songs are taken from a relatively short period in the band’s early days. And every single song on this album is an absolute banger. It is the sound of late 70s Arena Rock at its very best. Lou Gramm could sing the heck out of a song and Mick Jones was an able co-writer. “Cold as Ice,” “Jukebox Hero,” “Feels Like the First Time,” and a bunch of other perfect songs.
