This may be the best first two songs on any debut album ever. When this came out in 1980 and I heard “Turn Me Loose,” I was positive that Loverboy was the greatest band of all time. These Canadians were too big for Canada and too big for America. Some bands write a bunch of great songs and a handful of very good albums. It takes them years.
