Meat Loaf "Bat Out of Hell" cassette tape

Meat Loaf’s debut is a diamond-selling classic that splits the difference between Sixties girl group melodrama and Bruce Springsteen. It was born in the mind of Jim Steinman and produced by the great Todd Rundgren, but its the chutzpah and pipes of its big, gaudy, sweaty, over the top of the top singer that makes it so undeniable. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" gets the airplay but every song is a banger, and especially "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)" and the title track. Tape is in very good vintage condition.
