Ground zero for Mr. and Mrs. Thompson as a duo and a later English Rock classic. “Cavalry Cross” is guitar heaven, but “When I Get to the Border” and the title track are just flawless songs. This is the record that still has some Fairport Convention about it but where you can hear the songwriter emerging and figuring things out, with the help of his partner in life. Cassette in very good vintage condition.
