Richard Thompson "Rumor and Sigh" cassette tape

$11.00

Peak Past Prime alert! So good — I almost don’t want to sell this. This is the middle-aged masterpiece everyone wanted for Richard Thompson. It came out in 1992, right before Grunge exploded and early enough to be nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Rock album. There’s not much about the record that is Alternative, actually. It’s more than a dozen masterful songs, including the most delicious ("I Feel So Good”) and the most gorgeous ("1952 Vincent Black Lightning") songs he had written in years. A complete triumph. Cassette in very good vintage condition.
