Semisonic "Feeling Strangely Fine" cassette tape

$9.00
sold out

The breakthrough album from Dan Wilson and his buddies from Minnesota, which featured the completely overplayed but completely awesome “Closing Time.” Seriously, I probably claimed to have hated the song in 1998 but am now secure enough to admit that it’s just a perfectly made Rock song. Semisonic were promoted as “Alternative,” but really they were exactly where Modern Rock was in 1998 — lighter, more sensitive and not quite as noisy. If you only know the hit single, you should stay for “Secret Smile” and “Singing in my Sleep.” There’s a reason Dan Wilson is still one of the most desired songwriters working today. And his best song is here. Tape in excellent vintage condition.
