Soul Asylum "And The Horse they Rode In On" cassette tape

$9.00

After half a decade gutting it out in the shadows of The Replacements, Pirner and crew were about to break through on their own. This was their debut for A&M and features some ragged, loud jangle and the pre-Cobain “I don’t give a rasp” from the lead singer. It’s more than a document of pre-Grunge — it’s a genuinely great album from a band that got accidentally famous and should be remembered as a special part of the Twin Cities alternative music of the 80s and 90s. Includes the song “We 3,” which was on the “Chasing Amy” soundtrack and would have been a hit two years later. A great cover and a great cassette album. Tape in excellent vintage condition.
