The debut album from the “most important band in the world,” released in 1977 in the UK but withheld from us Americans until 1979. This is completely essential listening, featuring “Police and Thieves,” “Career Opportunities,” Bored with the U.S.A.” and maybe a half dozen other classic bursts from Mick Jones and Joe Strummer. Case and cover show wear but the cassette is just fine.
