Wings "London Town" cassette tape

$10.00
sold out

1977 was supposed to be a year off for the McCartneys, with Linda pregnant and Paul wanting a break. But, alas, Sir Paul cannot stop writing songs. And so, despite that fact that two members left the band, Paul, Linda and Denny Laine wrote and recorded for much of the year, including a session on the Fair Carol yacht in the Virgin Islands. The resulting album produced “With a Little Luck,” “I’ve Had Enough” and “Girlfriend” (later covered by Michael Jackson). By McCartney standards, the album performed “just OK,.” But by most any objective standard, this is a pretty great album. Tape in very good vintage condition.
