This is where Aerosmith 2.0 began. “Angel,” “Rag Doll” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady” are the blueprint for the Liv Tyler/Alicia Silverstone era of the band that could have owned the 70s but stumbled for about a decade before they returned to dominate the early 90s. There’s a Beatles Cover (“I’m Down”), a Desmond Child song and a couple Jim Vallance numbers. This is the sound of Rock and Roll in 1987.
